Millions of Americans will always be indebted to young Larry Welk, Jr., for having brought these talented youngsters to the attention of his famous dad. His discovery led to their being featured on Lawrence Welk's weekly Dodge TV program, and, later to their own starring roles as album recording artists. What Larry spotted was that Dianne, Peggy, Kathy and Janet Lennon have a rare combination of beauty, winsome charm, clear voices sweetly blended, natural showmanship, and the stage presence of old-timers. It must be a winning combination, for the response to their weekly appearances is unanimously voiced in one word: "More!"

Their father, Bill Lennon, himself a veteran of show business, had a lot to do with building in the know-how, which gives the girls the ease of seasoned performers at an age when their natural, youthful appeal might very well have sufficed to launch their career. Bill saw to it that they were ready, trained and competent to take advantage of the big break when it came.

We, their listeners and devoted fans, are lucky winners, as the prettiest-quartet anywhere around applies its harmonies to these twelve favorites.
